Lost Civilizations
Lost Civilizations
The Lost Civilizations series was published in the 90's and in many ways is very similar to the Time-Frame series (binding and quality wise; anyway). Each volume details the accomplishments of a civilization that has vanished; and in general these are pretty good.

I have a few of these, but the only one I've read so far was Pompeii (but I read it in one sitting; I was called for jury duty but never selected for a jury).
