Successful Parenting was a 15 volume set published in the late 80's. Each volume was targeted as a way to reach a specific goal or avoid a specific problem parents might encounter while raising their children.
Being a non-parent myself, I've never even flipped through one of these. Personally, I doubt that any book (even 14 of them) can provide a catch-all solution to these types of problems simply because there are so many different, diverse children out there. Still, though, just judging by the titles they might be useful, and who am I to say that you can't get a few good ideas from them?
