True Crime is a relatively short series from the late 90's that deals with crime and criminals (especially violent crime). Each volume is bound in black and has a photo of one of the subjects on the front.
I don't know too much about these; I haven't read (or even browsed) any of them yet. I have read that they are filled with lots of black & white photos, mostly of crime scenes and victims, which makes me even less likely to peruse one.
Note; I list this series as 10 volumes with volume 10 being Blood Relations. I do this since Blood Relations is listed as volume 10 on Amazon and they claim to have sold over a million of them. Note, however, that I have never seen anyone WITH this book and that it isn't listed in the Library of Congress database, which makes me think it was scheduled to be printed but cancelled at the last minute and no one ever told Amazon. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether or not they made up the million sold.
