But if you smoke weed every day, then you will never experience the “munchies” again because your endocannabinoid levels will never fall back down to normal. Instead, you will develop a craving for junk food and unhealthy snacks while having less energy and poor concentration.
This is why I recommend using CBD oil instead of weed. It contains a type of cannabinoid called cannabidiol (CBD) that does not affect our endocannabinoid system. As such, it doesn’t cause the “munchies” or any other uncomfortable side effects associated with weed consumption.

To understand what CBD is and how exactly it works, we must first go over what a cannabinoid is. In simpler terms, a cannabinoid is a chemical compound that interacts with cannabinoid receptors in our bodies. There are two types of cannabinoids: phytocannabinoids and terpenophenolic cannabinoids.
Phytocannabinoids are produced naturally in the human body, whereas terpenophenolic cannabinoids are created through synthetic means.
Cannabis contains both types of cannabinoids. For example, THC is a terpenophenolic cannabinoid, while CBD is a phyto-cannabinoid. Since CBD acts differently, it will not trigger the “munchies” nor make you experience any undesirable consequences such as anxiety or sleeplessness.
So, while weed definitely has its benefits, it’s important to remember that it comes with drawbacks, especially for heavy users. And if you don’t intend to use weed on a regular basis, then it’s perfectly fine to go without it entirely.

Now that we know what CBD is and how it works, let’s talk about how to detox with CBD oil!
First, it’s important to realize that the results you experience after using CBD oil will differ depending on how much you smoke weed, how frequently you smoke, and whether or not you take any supplements while detoxing.
As per Healthline, the number of sessions needed to fully eliminate THC depends on how long you smoked weed, the amount ingested each time, and your tolerance to weed. Some experts suggest three to six days of CBD oil usage, while others say up to 12 days.
In either case, the goal is to gradually withdraw from weed, reducing your intake by several times your typical dose each week. By the fourth week, you should completely quit smoking weed, although you might still need to drink CBD oil for a couple of months afterward.
You will notice changes in your mood and behavior after starting your detox program. You may feel lethargic, tired, hungry, and irritable, but these are just symptoms of withdrawal. Your body requires additional time to adjust to life without weed.

Exercise releases endorphins, which help boost your immunity and lower cortisol levels, leading to better sleep, reduced inflammation, and improved blood flow and circulation. All of these things promote better physical and mental health, and they happen naturally when you move around regularly.
